Romantic Dinner
Once upon a time a boy and a girl had came up with the idea of having a great time on a romantic dinner at home.
He started to prepare the food when she started cleaning the bathroom...
Alright, a lot of chemical stuff there, but no problem, dinner ready let's open the wine
ops... Where's the opener?
Youtube save me, how to open a wine bottle with no proper tool?
- Try with a shoe and hit hard the bottle on the wall
Ok, almost destroyed two walls, the neighbors are probably wondering what's going on... what else youtube suggests?
- You can try with a towel, put it on the wall and hit hard the bottle on the towel
Allright, just in case it doesn't work with some kind of bottles...
- OH YES! This method can't fail, just use a knife and take off the stopper!
Hm... it's cut the crap, but didn't really succeed
Ok, enough, let's try to put it inside... It should've been easier shouldn't it?
Give me the fourth kind of knife, maybe it can help to put it inside, unless...
Gosh, there's no air anymore, pressure can make things messy, and the knife doesn't reach the crap too...
Oh yes! We can try to make a hole with the hanger to pour the wine at least
Alright, succeeded, let's warm up the food in the microwave?
Love you
I love you too.
But the food we prepared afterwards will be amazing!
Let´s move to the next phase of the evening

You didn't expect what it's about, right
.
.
.
Just kidding :P
(I was really tempted to put some picture of dinosaurs here...but I won't do it because today I'm nice.)
There are many many things to say and to wish.
First of all, I'm really sad not to be with you. I miss you so much.
I wish you all that's the best for you, to be happy and full of success, satisfied and always you that I love so much.
I wish you would get familiar in Ireland as soon as possible, stable and happy, and the weather would have some mercy on you and there would be many many promotions of good beef in tesco ;) or better - that you would find a good, interesting job soon and you wouldn't have to care about promotions.
I wish you would make your Succesful Game, play in an awesome band and achieve all this being surrounded by good people and no bad energy disturbing you.
I wish you a happy amazing life - and if I could make some part of it even better, I'm up to :)
I wish you would have an amazing day and let it be the birthday you deserve - with not one, but two birthday cakes.
One:
And second one:
(Ok, the second one is optional :P)
I suck in writing apparently, there is too much I want to express and I hope we'll soon have a chance to express ourselves as much as we want.
Oh, and I also wish you would find a house soon, maybe something like this:
Of course, I know it sucks, there is no beach and you will do better than this, but it doesn't have to look like this, it's just a suggestion of how it may look like.
And, just to make a birthday teasing, as your girlfriend I can give you personalized special wishes - if you were worried that this birthday is not that deep - I promise next year I will make it very hard :P
There is one more thing. Something in the way. It didn't arrive on time because it wasn't possible to ship it in non-standard way (stupid amazon) and apparently they still use horses. Old, slow horses.
But I can promise that it's worth to wait because it's:
Best wishes and lots of kisses from girlfriend and her worst picture ever:

I just...
Love you.
There is a quotation I always liked, that I just saw again:
To Like is when you are commited to someone and you appreciate it.
Passion is when you think the person is perfect.
Love is when you know the person is not perfect and you learn to love even the defects.
Ok, I didn't learn how to love the distance, but I learned to love you even by the distance

Messy (not Messi)
I don't really know how to put this into words.
That's why I failed with the idea of this blog, I just can't find words, can't write the things I want to express
I love you so much, across the ocean and back.
A lot of feelings recently, many thoughts on my exhausted mind, I can't always get the connections between the crazy boxes but one thing is clear - I want to be with you. I'm sure.
Thank you for everything.

Genius idea from a dying brain
We should rethink the name of our band - my proposition is JET LAG
It's perfect because it contains your original idea of LAG (so the nerd part is still there) and what's more, it refers to the fooding time difference which causes the permanent synchronisation problems and probably my death as well.

Oto rozwiązanie wszystkich twoich problemów
It's quite late already but my brain is still working like crazy so I'll try to answer you now. If my explanations aren't clear enough feel free to ask more :)
I will start with the questions.
1. This issue is actually pretty simple, however the translation in English is often not sufficient as there is no gender and case difference in this language...
"Oni" and "one" both mean "they", but "oni" is the masculine version and "one" is feminine. I think it is the same as "eles" and "elas" in Portuguese. So:
Oni są wysocy = Eles são altos
One są wysokie = Elas são altas
Oni są niscy = Eles são baixos
One są niskie = Elas são baixas
You can notice that the adjective changes according to gender as well.
2. Oooh, now it's the funny part - cases :)
"Polska" is the basic version of noun and we use it when it's the main noun of the sentence. For example, if you want to say "Poland is awesome" it will be: Polska jest wspaniała.
But when you intend to say that you live somewhere, for the noun that stands for the place you have to use the case of location (it's called locative in English and locativo in Portuguese). Then I live in Poland = Mieszkam w Polsce.
It also applies to many kind of talking about location that you can imagine, for example:
I am in Poland = Jestem w Polsce (BUT I am from Poland = Jestem z Polski, that's a different case)
[ I will write more examples later... now I'm not really creative ]
Ok, let's go to your excercises.
Jestem zBrazylia, mam dwadzieścia jeden lat i to moja druga praca.
Cases again... This time it's a different one, it's called genitive and honestly I don't know how to explain it properly not to mess everything up... Let's say for now that one of applications occurs for the nouns where you would put "de" in front in Portuguese:P It's for places of origin and describing belongings etc. There should be: Jestem z Brazylii.
Language purist here :P I would say "to moje drugie ćwiczenie" (ćwiczenie means excercise), because it's sound better in this meaning. The word "praca" means also job, so your sentence could also mean "this is my second job" which is confusing. Of course it's not a mistake, just a detail:)
As you can see the adjective changed here as well, it's because the gender of the noun changed. "Praca" is feminine so it used the feminine adjective "druga". "Ćwiczenie" is the neutral gender, so the adjective is "drugie". (For the masculine it would be "drugi"; plural masculine - "drudzy", plural feminine - "drugie". In Portuguese adjectives also change depending on the gender of the noun, right? So it's very similar here, we just have one more gender because we're crazy :P )
Jestem mężczyzną,brunetami, ja jestem wysoki i szczupły.
Another case of case. And you used it ALMOST properly. This one is called instrumental case(?). I dunno, I need to learn it first :P But. "Brunetami" is plural and there is only one you so it's better to use singular - it should be : Jestem brunetem.
Nie jestem wolny, lub żonaty, bądź rozwiedziony, ale kochammoją sympatia (może żona, pewnego dnia).
Guess what? Cases! This one's name is accusative. This sentence should look like : Kocham moją sympatię.
In addition, "dziewczyna" is a better and more common word for a girlfriend. It's the same word as for girl, so basically "my girlfriend" is the same as "my girl" - moja dziewczyna. So : I love my girlfriend = Kocham moją dziewczynę.
"Sympatia" generally means girlfriend too, but it's used only by people who are about 200 years old.
"Żona" should also look like "żonę" here. But, well, this is more abstract case :P
Ona jestblondynkami, szczupły i bardzo piękny, ale ona mieszka w Polsce.
The same issue as before, you used the right case (instrumental), but in plural. I'm not that fat and there is no need to use plural for me :P so it should be : Ona jest blondynką.
(I would ignore the fact that you lie in your writing excercises... Or you can't recognize colors)
Here I should get really really angry. Why the hell you used masculine adjectives to describe me? :(
There should be : szczupła, piękna because I'm a woman and female version suits me better.
Mój matka ma na imię Arlete, oni są stare.
Gender, dude. As far as I know, your mother is a woman, so there should be : moja
You forgot the verb: your mother has the name.
I'm not sure I know what you meant here.
If you meant "she is old" --- ona jest stara.
If you meant "they are old" --- oni są starzy.
Anyway - you're so nice!
Jestempierwszy syn i jedyny. Ja jest jedynakiem.
The same, instrumental case. I will explain the theory later... Plus I would put the words in different order. So : Jestem pierwszym i jedynym synem
This is a simple mistake :) This is "I am" - "Ja jestem", I'm sure it's just an accidental mistake as you used the verb properly in the first sentence.
And somehow you used the instrumental case properly in this sentence - Jestem jedynakiem :)
Gosh no more colors :(
Mój ojciec ma jedną córkę, ale ona nie brat studiuje i ja niezapoznać się mój siostra.
Again you forgot the verb :)
Here I have no idea what you tried to say...
Double combination, past tense and a case. First, the past tense for "I met" is "ja poznałem". The case here is genitive : "moja siostra" changes to "mojej siostry".
The whole sentence: I never met my sister = Nigdy nie poznałem mojej siostry.
This is it. I have to say that it's really good for some first writing in a totally new language, I'm impressed :) Everything will come with time.
The main problem with busuu is that it makes moreless the same content for every language, without concentrating on the specific issues of every language. So I think it would be really really useful for you to ask about everything you doubt :) My advice is to learn the whole sentences or expressions, to memorize and get used to the words in specific situations. Also when you check some vocabulary it would be better to search for whole expression/sentence in Google translate instead. Of course it's not always 100% correct but... well.
I think it would be nice for you to know something about cases, right? In the weekend I will try to search for some useful information what is that shit and when to use what. Maybe check the book I sent you, I don't remember if there is something there.
Okaaay, it's really late now. Good night/Good morning, have a nice day, I hope my advice helped you a bit.

Polski, pomoc
Well, I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with the writing exercises, so
here's a short summary of me using the first vocabulary in a totally
crazy way :p can you please correct me (hope it's possible to understand the general meaning) and answer two questions? =D
And please feel free to do the same or anything else where I can help, if you didn't consider it yet.
Cześć! Jak się masz?
Mam na imię Paulo, miło mi Cię poznać!
Jestem z Brazylia, mam dwadzieścia jeden lat i to moja druga praca.
Jestem mężczyzna brunetami, ja jestem wysoki i szczupły.
Nie jestem wolny, lub żonaty bądż rozwiedziony, ale kocham moją sympatia (może żona, pewnego dnia ;D ).
My jesteśmy młodzi. Ona jest blondynkamy :p , szczupły i bardzo piękny,
ale ona mieszka w Polsce :( .
Lubię grać w siatkówkę, podoba mi się niebieski i ciemne kolory.
Mój ojciec na imię ma Paulo, podobnie jak ja. Mój matka na imię Arlete, oni są stare. Jestem pierwszy syn i jedyny! Ja jest jedenakiem.
Mój ojciec jedną córkę, ale ona nie brat studiuje i ja nie zapoznać się mój siostra.
Do widzenia! Do zobaczenia wkrótce!
1. Why in the phrase "Czy one są wysokie?" we use 'one' and in the phrase "Czy oni są niscy?" we use 'oni'? I totally didn't get it :(
2. Polsce? why not Polska? (or when to use the first one, idk)
And please feel free to do the same or anything else where I can help, if you didn't consider it yet.
